Talus East

WBS completed extensive baseline vegetation surveys and soil analysis in 2021 that informed erosion control and revegetation designs for this new subdivision in Reno, NV. Given the location of this project and the potential for growth-prohibitive concentrations of boron and potentially high pH, soil analysis was conducted in areas of potential soil salvage and existing topsoil stockpiles for use in general revegetation and riprap backfill. Since large parts of this subdivision will be constructed in an inactive aggregate borrow site lacking a salvageable topsoil, identification of a suitable growth media is essential to project success.
