For Triangle Properties, a Division of Teichert.  2021 - present. Washoe County, NV. Designed test plots for aggregate borrow site east of Reno, NV. The Western Nevada Materials (WNM) Tracy Clark Aggregate Plant (Plant) is located in south-central Washoe County, Nevada, approximately 13 miles east of the city of Sparks, Disturbed areas associated with the Plant must be reclaimed (graded and revegetated) following the end of operations to provide sufficient erosion control and facilitate potential future land uses. However, there is no reclamation plan for the Plant. To that end two replications of test plots on 2:1 slopes at finish grade were installed in the fall of 2021 as follows: six combinations of treatments: broadcast seeding, broadcast seeding + mulch and tackifier, broadcast seeding + humic acid, broadcast seeding + mulch and tackifier + humic acid, hydroseeding (with mulch and tackifier), and hydroseeding (with mulch and tackifier) + humic acid. The test plots were monitored in the spring of 2022 and will be repeated in 2026.
